Anyone want to pitch their project to get crew? Screen some of your work or work-in-progress to other members? Give a talk about some aspect of production you're experienced in, so others can gain from that experience?

How about an on-line list?
Would it be possible to publish an on line list of the members and what they are certified in? Could you make their email address available with their permission?

Thanks for your suggestion towards helping to find more ways to support member networking.
At this point we don't have an option on our forms (or in our member database) to have members select to let us release their email addresses--only phone numbers. It has been suggested and we will hopefully get that question onto the forms, because we understand a lot of people prefer to use email (including me).
That said, we strongly feel we need to take care to protect our members' right to privacy. There are a number of members who do NOT want their email addresses released for certain reasons--such as spam problems, people using the email addresses for other purposes, etc. For that reason, I'm guessing many people especially wouldn't want their email addresses published online. But if we get a mechanism for permission to release email addresses to other members, we could generate a paper list for a member requesting it, just like we currently do for members who request phone numbers of members (who have allowed the release of their numbers.)

I just found out that there is such a list on paper in check out
I searched the site and found out that I can get a list on paper, but it would be cool to get a member list on-line with contact information. I find on-line communication much more convienient because one can contact people when it is convienient to do so, rather than at a bad time.
