Cinema Scene is a half-hour film review television show that reviews the latest films. Co-hosts Mort Marcus and Richard Van Busack discuss some aspect of the current film scene and then describe four films, which they discuss from a technical, historical and/or sociological viewpoint. Film clips and other visuals provide a context for the discussions, and a segment of the show is devoted to exploring some aspect of one of the films under discussion. Some shows are totally devoted to a single filmmaker, actor or critic, many of whom are interviewed along with a plethora of clips from their work or the works being discussed.
