Community Television is committed to covering as many non-profit community events as possible. If you are a local non-profit and have an event you would like us to tape and cablecast, you need to submit a Request for Video Coverage form. You can do this in one of three ways:

• By downloading the Request for Video Coverage pdf, filling it out and faxing in back to the attention of Kathy D'Angelo at 425-3958. You can also mail it to us at Community Television, 816 Pacific Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.
• By filling out and submitting our on-line Request for Video Coverage Webform. An e-mail will automatically be sent to us.

Our below cost non-profit rate for a standard event (2 hours or less) is $225 (1 cameras-shoot and edit) or $450 (2 camera shoot and edit). For certain events, Community Television is able to waive some of these costs. If you are unable to pay the full cost, please indicate how much you can pay on the form. We will contact you to discuss this.

Here are some things to be aware of in requesting video coverage:

• Please submit your request at least two to three weeks in advance of the event. Otherwise we may not be able to cover it.
• Release forms are available for persons appearing in the video, and must be signed prior to taping.
• It is important that people appearing on camera know that they are most likely going to be seen on television.
• The final program will and MUST be shown on Community Television.
• The contributing organization will receive one VHS or DVD COPY of the final edited program. (Additional copies may be purchased.)
• All editorial and duplication rights are reserved by Community Television. We cannot give the raw footage or the master tape out.
• Please use our full name (Community Television of Santa Cruz County) and/or official logo in publicizing your event. Our graphics are available upon request.
• Please read the Community Television announcement (provided by the crew) prior to your event.
